At AgentBalance, we strive for the most efficient communication between managers and employees. That’s why we originally came up with the AgentBalance CORE metrics – to spark a meaningful discussion between managers and their subordinates based on monitoring of psychometric data.
Now we are taking the whole AgentBalance Suite to a new level. The latest addition to the feature set is the Feedback Loop module. As the name suggests, this tool is aimed to provide feedback to employees on various job-related issues with the ability to exchange opinions and ideas directly in the application.
So, what exactly can the Feedback Loop do?
Team Leaders or managers can create and store notes and reminders about employees. The process of a note or a reminder creation is a matter of seconds. The system automatically selects only users that are valid for the given team leader and doesn’t allow for any misuse.
Of course, there are many solutions that allow users to create notes and reminders. The uniqueness of the AgentBalance approach is that you can combine everything – notes, reminders, and messages in a single thread dedicated to a single employee and a selected topic. Team Leaders can even select a topic from predefined “positive – neutral – complaint” selection to save their time.
Team leaders can initiate a communication with any employee that is a member of their team either by creating a new thread or simply by adding a message to an already existing thread that might have contained only remarks on the employee, for example.
Employees are then notified about a new message in the notification area in the upper right part of the screen and can react directly from their AgentBalance account.
As you would probably expect, Feedback Loop as an enterprise communication tool is monitored and archived which means that team leaders can use this tool even as means of delivering complaints or administering disciplinary measures to employees.
Based on the way we understand people and management of employees, Feedback Loop could serve as a great tool for creating acknowledgements between employees and managers, complemented with targets, recognitions and best practices. Reminders can even well… remind team leaders to follow-up on an agreed day in the future.
In the mid-term road map, all data in the Feedback Loop will be a subject to automated quantitative evaluation that will allow companies to quickly extract very interesting details about their team’s atmosphere, commonly expressed sentiment, number of interactions, etc. Of course, these data will be presented in a form that allows for a better understanding of your employees – so imagine, for example, that instead of an internal survey about a recently implemented remuneration system, AgentBalance would automatically show you the prevailing sentiment about this change.
I believe that Feedback Loop is a step not only in the right direction of helping team leaders and managers stay closer together and understand each other better but to also allow brand new correlations of what people think, feel, what they say and how well they perform.
